Sneaky social media users have shared the shocking reasons they decided to lie to their friends – and even family – about their age.
The confessions, shared to Whisper, include one from a college student who opted to hide his age when he returned to education – and joined a fraternity – at 27.
Meanwhile a young American mother took to the anonymous app to reveal she hid her age to avoid the ‘looks of judgement’ she would get after having her son at 17.
A third user, from Seattle, said he lied about his age in order to ‘fit in at work’, explaining that as his colleagues ‘don’t tend to include the younger employees’.
